INNER OPUS PRESS
Independent Publishing for the Life of the Imagination
Inner Opus Press is an independent publishing house devoted to works exploring depth psychology, alchemy, Hermeticism, mysticism, philosophy, religion, symbolism, and the transformative dimensions of human experience.
The Press was founded as the publishing home of Mansoor H. Abidi and is gradually expanding to include selected works by other authors whose scholarship, imagination, and vision are aligned with its intellectual mission.
Inner Opus Press seeks books that recover depth, meaning, and symbolic consciousness in a culture increasingly shaped by fragmentation, literalism, and abstraction. Its publications bring historical traditions into conversation with contemporary psychological, philosophical, and spiritual questions.
For Authors
Inner Opus Press is primarily a curated independent press and publishes a limited number of titles.
Proposals from authors whose work closely reflects the Press's editorial interests may be considered. We are particularly interested in original, thoughtful, and well-developed manuscripts that contribute meaningfully to the study of psychology, philosophy, mysticism, symbolism, and the transformative traditions.
For publishing inquiries, please contact us with a brief description of the proposed work.
Editorial Vision
Inner Opus Press is especially interested in works that cross established boundaries between psychology, philosophy, religious studies, cultural history, mysticism, and the arts.
We welcome scholarship that is intellectually rigorous while remaining attentive to imagination, symbol, lived experience, and the enduring questions of the human soul.
Areas of particular interest include depth and archetypal psychology, alchemical and Hermetic traditions, Islamic mysticism and Sufism, Neoplatonism, esoteric philosophy, comparative spirituality, sacred art and symbolism, and interdisciplinary approaches to transformation and meaning.
